DESCRIPTION:This engaging talk by Estelle Lovatt unlocks the ideas and creative methods behind some of the world’s greatest artworks. The talk explores how master artists reshaped art history—period after period\, “ism” after “ism”—from the Renaissance to Contemporary Art. Expect Leonardo\, Rembrandt\, Manet\, Picasso\, Rothko and Tracey Emin\, among others. It also looks at headline-grabbing modern moments: the 1969 moon landing\, the unmade bed\, the floating shark\, and even a pile of bricks. \nEstelle Lovatt FRSA is an art critic\, broadcaster and engaging speaker\, known for making art accessible\, lively and thought-provoking. Trained as a painter\, with a background in art history and exhibition curation\, she brings expert insight to everything from cave art to Banksy.
